This company has left a friend without a/c since July 19 so about 6 weeks on a warranty covered system and telling them that they cannot get the part until the end of September. This is unacceptable and I don’t recommend dealing with this company. Response from the owner an hour ago HI Cindi: I am certain we are doing all we can to get the part they need. If you would be kind of enough to share their name, and/or have them call the office tomorrow, we will gladly explain where we are in the process. We have ways to ensure people are not left in hot homes. I am certain there is "more to the story". My Response to you is: Surprised at your response as she speaks with Ashley weekly. She has asked if there was a part available on a temporary basis and was told that it would void the warranty which may be true as I have not looked over the agreement at this time. When asked about any interim resolution Ashley stated that you used to provide portable units but no longer do so. So she has been left with a "hot house" in the middle of record heat with risk for mold development as well as incredible inconvenience ongoing now for 6 weeks. AGAIN, this is unacceptable and find your response to be untrue regarding not leaving her in a "hot house". YOU HAVE!! I am fairly sure that the part has been ordered and even though it has a long lead time, I consider it bad business to leave any customer of many years in a situation like this without a temporary resolution. At this point several ways to encourage a response are being considered besides writing a bad review such as reporting to BBB. So there's your "more to the story". I will not disclose her name in this review as you should be able to figure it out by your open orders with the assistance of Ashley who she speaks with a couple of times a week.
5 stars for Kenny our hot water heater installer today. We did our research - called around - and few were willing to give an over-the-phone rough estimate for the job even if you describe the job exactly beforehand - and even send photos. Aqua Plumbing here in Bradenton gave an accurate estimate and were on time for a next morning installation. Kenny gets the job - plus his detailed explanation of everything at the end was great. Ask for him by name.
I work with Wrightway Emergency Services and have had the pleasure of working with Ashley Leedy/Aqua Plumbing on all things scheduling. She's quick to respond, professional and friendly! They handle our jobs with a team mentality in mind. Great choice if you use them!
Michael was very helpful and professional in diagnosing and fixing our plumbing issues. Hope to get him next time we have issues.
EDIT: I just spoke with Aqua and they are crediting our account for the initial visit. I'm glad they followed through because people in our community have been very happy with their service. Aqua has done a considerable amount of work in our complex and we called them to repair a shower drain that was cracked. In the call, I explained that they would need to go through our elderly neighbor's shower ceiling to access the pipes (cut drywall, concrete, etc)... Plumber arrives and doesn't have the right equipment to cut cast iron pipes, takes pictures and leaves. We get charged for the visit. Another plumber comes two business days later and does the job but states he never saw the pictures. I've had three "courtesy" calls from Aqua to check on service and I asked each time why the first plumber didn't have the correct tools to do the job and why the pictures were never given to the second plumber. I also emailed the question. The plumber (and helper) did a great job (thanks Justin!) but we still want to know what happened the first day since it inconvenienced our elderly neighbor and cost us $119. If it was our fault somehow or we communicated the problem wrong- we are fine paying for the visit. But the lack of follow up on the first bill makes me question using their service again.
