This is a great Mexican restaurant. The owner and all the staff are very efficient and friendly. The food was super tasty. Thanks oodles Casa Maya Mexican Restaurant for a wonderful time at your place. We hope to be back soon.
Stopped into Casa Maya based on the great reviews - but unfortunately, we were left disappointed. Ordered a jalapeño margarita and it tasted like cheap tequila mix and was not spicy at all. They brought us chips and salsa (which was a nice touch) but honestly it was less than mediocre. I’m a huge chips and salsa lover and I barely touched them. Salsa tasted straight out of a Ragu jar. I decided to get something small as the first two things disappointed, but wasn’t left impressed. The “chicken tortilla soup” was okay, but it was mostly tomato and definitely not a traditional soup. Staff was nice and attentive but based on the food..probably would not return.
I cant say enough good things about this place! I have been here probably 30 times now, eaten so many things off the menu and everything is also fresh and delicious! It is quite the gem
To begin with get actual Mexican cookers or good cookers . They have no Mexican drinks besides cerveza.. The music was ok .. but not traditional. The drinks are hot. I thought this was going be a good place but I left disappointed.the food was ok .. the chips with salsa was ok but you can Immediately tell it comes from a can ..they can fool people that don’t know about Mexican food. The tortillas aren’t hand made .. I’m very disappointed.. never coming here back again and don’t recommend you to come here ..there is a lot of cheese not even Mexican cheese it has sweet pepper even more then what there is to chicken
Was craving a chimichanga, and after a search around me, I found out that Casa Maya has mini chimis as an appetizer! They were filled with shredded chicken, nice and crispy, and just the right size for me - though I did sop up all the cheese sauce and would’ve used even more! 🤣
