Today was a cleaning appointment and check up for me. They are thorough, listen to any of your concerns and are friendly. If you want a straight shooter, Dr Mooney is the one for you. I happen to appreciate an honest response which includes options for my care. The staff is friendly. I am very happy with the excellent care I have received at Cooper Creek Dental.
Cooper Creek is great. Been going there for my dental needs for more than a decade. Dr. Ann Moody is personable and professional. Cara, my hygienist, is thorough with cleaning my teeth, taking x-rays, etc., and is such a sweet, nice person.
I absolutely adore my hygienist, Alley, she's super and I look forward to my appointments. She makes the visits pleasant, and always friendly and very pleasant! My dentist, Dr. Mooney is also great! I recommend Cooper Creek Dental to all my friends!
I could not be more happy with Dr. McAvoy and the team at Cooper Creek Dental. I have been a patient for many years and have referred many others to her for care. She's the perfect combination of professional and friendly. I also love that I see her at events in the community and occasionally at the grocery store - my hometown dentist!
I wish I could say great things about this place but after what I’m currently experiencing, I cannot. I have spent a lot of money there because I felt the staff was super friendly and I trusted their services. Unfortunately, now I’m regretting it tremendously! I have had to pay out of pocket for all my dental work because my insurance doesn’t cover much and I have no problem doing so. However, about 3-4 months ago, I was told I needed a filling. It was a tooth I kept complaining about bc I knew something was wrong. After looking at it, Dr. McAvoy informed me that it was a deep cavity. I specifically told her and the hygienist, if it was going to need a root canal, I would rather extract that tooth and have an implant placed. I have not had good experiences with root canals and I know how painful it can get leading up to that. It was a pain that I did not want to have to go through ever again. She told me that it did not need a root canal so she filled the tooth, shaved it down and put a crown on it. Then, right after she was finished, she proceeded to advise me that it just might need a root canal after all. And, If I was to experience any pain, she gave me a referral to have an emergency root canal. I told her I did not want a root canal. That was what I was trying to avoid. I would’ve rather extracted the tooth. About 3 months later, here I am in nonstop excruciating pain and right before Thanksgiving, when every dental office is closed until Monday. Even the emergency dental office she referred will take 7 days to get me in for an emergency root canal and will cost a total of $2k. I don’t even know if I can make it 7 days in this pain! Now, I’m stuck having to decide if I should have a dental ER extract the tooth so I’m no longer in intense paid, after paying around $2k out of pocket for a filling and a crown. When I could’ve avoided all of this, if they just extracted the tooth so I could get an implant, which would’ve cost just slightly more, but lasts forever and is pain free. I’m so furious and disappointed about this entire situation.
