As a concerned parent, I felt compelled to share my disappointing experience with Great Expression. My son's journey with braces turned into a nightmare due to their lack of professionalism and commitment to patient care. Despite requesting to be present during my son's consultation for braces, I was denied entry into the room. Instead, I was handed a price sheet while being informed that the dentist was already attending to another patient. This initial disregard for patient involvement should have been a warning sign of the communication challenges that lay ahead. Our troubles escalated when we missed a few appointments, understandably due to my full-time work commitments. Consequently, we exceeded the 24-month treatment plan. However, rather than showing understanding and flexibility, Great Expression proposed an additional year of treatment at a hefty cost of $1,500 on top of the $4,000 already paid. While I acknowledged my role in missing appointments, I was willing to proceed with the extended treatment plan. To our dismay, after agreeing to the additional cost and returning to continue the treatment, Great Expression shockingly refused to proceed. Their reason? Alleged negligence in my son's oral care during the treatment period. As a result, they abruptly removed his braces, leaving his teeth in a worse state than before – crowded teeth now spaced apart unevenly and lacking proper alignment. Attempting to rectify the situation, I sought out another dentist for a second opinion. The prognosis was dire – my son's teeth were misaligned and spaced apart that starting the treatment anew would cost us $5,000. To add insult to injury, Great Expression left us in this predicament, with no recourse for the subpar treatment they provided. Moreover, attempting to contact their office proved futile, as calls went unanswered, further exacerbating the frustration and sense of neglect. In conclusion, my experience with Great Expression has been nothing short of a disaster. Their poor communication, refusal to fulfill agreed-upon treatment, and ultimately leaving my son's dental health in a worse state than before reflect a gross negligence of professional duty. I urge others to exercise caution when considering Great Expression for orthodontic treatment, as their actions are simply unacceptable and detrimental to patient well-being.

My son started his Ortho November of 2022 , During this time frame he has had about 6 months worth of service as of today 4/4/2024. He spent most of the year last year 2023 getting surgeries done which took time to heal. During this period great expressions have still received payment each month. Months at a time he had to take time for his jawline to heal . Last month we went in for his appointment and they recommended cancelling his contract due to hygiene, I was told by Dr Sawaged that the brackets needed to be removed before they stained his teeth. I was unsure at the time and was told by Isbella or Isrella to call into the office when I have decided and she will reach out to cooperate . I called Great Expressions a week before spring break March 19 to advise them that I would like to cancel and scheduled to have his brackets removed and cancel the contract which was recommended on his last appointment . I went in today 4/4/24 for this appointment and was told that they will not be removing his brackets and a request to cooperate will be made for the cancellation . I was told to call in on 3/14 when I made a decision and a request would be sent. Which I did. Isbella stated that the request had not been sent because they don't always read the notes. So the person I spoke with that day did not read the notes as she scheduled the appointment which she should have been requesting the contract cancellation as well . Great Expression states that I will still have to pay the remaining balance of 1,000 plus even after the contract is cancelled . This is a recommendation on their end , I have paid months for services I did not receive . They did not allow me to put payments on hold during the months of surgery. It was deducted every month from my account on the first . Everything recommended on the last appointment was no longer at stay after requesting records which are needed for the next step. Choose wisely when looking for dental care for your children .

I had a great experience with my daughter’s treatment with Dr. Sawaged. He was so thorough and very kind. I’ve had experiences with many orthodontists with my other kids but Dr. Sawaged has been the best
