My entire experience at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Emergency Room was very positive. I was seen in the ER within 20 minutes of walking in the front door and everyone who treated me was kind, friendly, and efficient. My nurse Mimi was wonderful and Dr. H was so thorough and competent. He was a very calming influence. We were only in the ER for 3 hours, and that included all the testing and quick results. I wish every emergency room was run this efficiently.
I recently moved to Lakewood Ranch, FL and needed the services of an urgent care facility. I can honestly say that the experience was first class from the time I entered the front door to the time I left. All employees provided their particular contribution in a polite and professional manner. The nurse was interested and thorough as was the physician during his collection of history and physical examination. His treatment plan was straight forward and appropriate. I would not hesitate to revisit the facility if the need ever arises and I would quickly recommend it to family and friends. I should add that I have been a care giver myself for 46 years.
I was very impressed with Lakewood Ranch Medicine Center! The physician I saw was professional, cordial, and very patient in answering my questions. He was quite knowledgeable and explained my condition and prescribed treatment in layman’s term, so it was easy to understand. Likewise, the rest of the staff of nurses and techs did a great job in performing their respective duties. They were professional, friendly, and explained what service they were performing … that was helpful. KUDOS … you have a staff worthy of praise … they did a great job! You are a godsend to the community! I will definitely return should my family or I need excellent medical attention, in the future, especially if it is of an urgent nature. Also I’ll gladly share my experiences with neighbors and friends who ask - as they often do - if anyone knows of a great hospital in the area. Thank you!
The front office staff were so warm, friendly and understanding. The X-ray tech was efficient and informative. The phlebotomist was sweet but unable to draw blood. My nurse was on break so there was another nurse that started the IV and was able to draw blood. It took her one try which was amazing because I am a tough stick. Dr H - horrible. Did not listen to my symptoms, never checked my abdomen, never checked my heart rate and just wanted to know if I was in pain. I was nauseous and he didn’t even order nausea medicine, the nurse requested as I was coughing and vomiting. He then told my husband and I that a blood test we requested showed my levels were within range. He never even ordered that specific test. This was revealed when I saw my doctor on Monday. I told my husband I felt worse leaving than I did arriving at the hospital. Miserable experience
Had a recent unscheduled visit to the ER at LWR Medical Center and subsequent overnight stay. Cannot say enough about excellent care I received during my time there. All the services that were administered there from the admittance, examining, testing, diagnosing were all delivered in a friendly and efficient manner. Was impressed with everyone who took care of me from the doctors, nurses, technicians and even the ladies who delivered my meals. The whole staff helped make my stay as comfortable as possible under what were unfortunate circumstances. My Thank You to All❤️
