Dr. K. is awesome! Wesley Hardin is great! We moved from Lakewood Ranch five years ago but I still drive the 15 to 20 miles for my twice yearly visits. Highly recommend.
I think this is a great doctors office. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly to me. I've been going there for a few years now and never had any issues. In addition, I have also seen many of the doctors and had great visits. Dr. Lekovic has really been a great doctor, he listens to my issues, takes the time to fully answer questions, and I never feel like I am being rushed out of the office.
This office has minimal wheelchair/disability accessibility and does not do anything but stick to the bare minimum the ADA requires. I was a patient here for over 9 years. Before me, my father was one of doctor Mishner's first patients at his family practice here in Lakewood Ranch, we watched him expand and brought multiple family members to the practice. I began to fight for an accessible table. A simple one that goes up and down( I'm sure many of you reading this know these simple tables I speak of, they are in offices and hospitals all over our country especially in this state) for people like myself who uses a wheelchair or anyone with mobility issues. I did this only after I was told the office was expanding and it would be a good opportunity for them to get one. Their cost isn't much different than the regular exam tables. When I started fighting hard and pushing, they did not like it and fired me as a patient. Doctors can use any excuse to do that. They can tell you it's for any reason much like an employer. After this occurred, my entire family left the practice. Five altogether. Years later they started calling and writing to me attempting to get me to make an appointment at their office for a yearly checkup , I was shocked. Turns out you're so lost in the sauce there now that they've expanded to a giant corporation, they simply let me slide through the cracks . So I called asking them about it and found out that was the case and I should never have been getting those calls . When I inquired if they ever bothered to obtain an accessible table, they did not. It's the only thing prompting me to write this review all these years later. When the situation first occurred I did write a review about it under Dr. Kasabov's name. You can still view it, I use the same google name now now as I did then. So if you are a wheelchair user or a member of the disability community, or even an elderly person who has difficulty getting up on those high tables, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a group that will care for you and take your special needs into consideration. Even if an individual doctor there is a good one, keep in mind the office is not interested in accommodating you in any way shape or form that is meaningful and the doctors sign on to this philosophy.
The worst medical group that is probably available in the area; customer service horrible, and the way how MAXhealth treats his patient is close to be a scandal. Appointments are never confirmed, its always a surprise and lately if you are not +65 with medical issues they simply dont want your business. I feel bad for the Doctors working there, i have been a patient for the last 5 years and lately being dropped because i am not within the age of interest.
