We went to Station 400 after checking out Sarasota's Cars & Coffee. I could not get over how cheap this place is and how good the food is! I started with the spicy mango mimosa but it wasn't spicy (still good though). For our entrees, we got the Smoked Salmon Benedict (the eggs were perfectly poached) and the Everything Bagel and Lox. The grits were delicious as well. Would recommend if you're in the area!
Southern biscuit, don't let this guys size fool you, it's packed with delicious mouth watering flavors. At first bite you get a little bit of biscuit some sauce and egg as you work your way further into this mysterious biscuit you start to experience more mouth watering flavors of pulled pork, bacon and chorizo gravy. If your looking to stimulate your pallet you might want to consider this option. I'm a big dude at 6'1 I eat a lot and this concoction of goodness and 2 cups of coffee and I was absolutely stuffed. Get here early they fill up fast the staff was very attentive. Great food, great service, great food
Station 400 is one of my "go to" lunch spots. It's a tradition that I stop there for lunch after every closing. Staff is friendly and the food is great. Breakfast and lunch served. My favorite thing to order is the Cobb Salad with grilled chicken. I sub the blue cheese with Feta. Chicken is always moist and tasty. Salad has avocado, hard boiled egg, bacon, cucumbers and a zesty garlic parmesean dressing. It's my favorite salad! I highly suggest to Salad lovers. Convenient Lakewood Ranch location with outdoor dining too.
A friend recommended this as an excellent brunch place. She was absolutely spot on! The corned beef hash was homemade and very crispy! Cheesy grits are the bomb! And if you like eggs benedict get the smoked salmon eggs benedict. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to ask for the homemade jam to go with your gluten-free toast! It's worth the 30-minute Drive for me. Very busy before 12:30 but it tapers off after that.
One visit to this fantastic place will make you want to add it your rotation for breakfast. All aspects of the dining experience were perfect. Went at 8 am on a Saturday, no wait. The nutella waffle topped amply with fruit was delicious and didn't need any of the additional syrup that it came with. The greek omelet was very enjoyable too. The olives were crushed and placed on top of the tzatiki sauce, which is preferable to its whole or even sliced form, for this kind of meal. The portion size is just right for not needing to take any leftovers home. It's not too hard to find a vegetarian option here. In the future we'll definitely come back for lunch! Edit: still haven't returned for lunch, but we've been back a few more times for breakfast! Everything we've had is memorably delicious, like the benedicts, French omelet, and banana pancakes.
