I went to two other shops that both gave me the runaround about my car, saying they would need to pull apart my engine to find the problem costing several hundred dollars in a simple diagnostic. I went to Superior and met Brian. I told him what was going on and he and a mechanic listened to my car for 15 seconds and said it had to be a timing belt and water pump, which it ended up being. My car is a little older, and this made much more sense than the several thousand I was told it might be than the other two. All in all with the diagnostic it was $1651, which is fair. Car runs excellent. Honest people, very friendly and I highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience, Dubious Diagnosis My thoughts on my experience with Superior are still resonating, and I feel compelled to share my experience. I’d like to acknowledge the person who managed my initial interaction – their courtesy was memorable. However, that's pretty much where the positives end. After leaving my car for diagnosis, I was taken aback by what the recommendation cost. A new window regulator and motor were deemed necessary, amounting to $125 for parts and a hefty $573 with labor. Honestly, that price seemed excessive. Initially I reluctantly agreed to the repair, but after some quick research, I realized that with my familiarity of the car I might be able to handle this myself. Aiming to avoid a near $600 expense for a $125 part. I reached out to Superior, sharing my change of plans, and things got tense. They were frustrated having already ordered the part. I offered to cover any costs, even restocking fees but surprisingly, they settled for just the $87 diagnostic fee. I took matters in to my own hands and disassembled the door to inspect the components and immediately noticed the weather covering under the inner door panel was completely untouched. This covering is held on by thick adhesive and shields the component in question which made me wonder if they had examined the window mechanism properly or at all. As I delved deeper, I arrived at the part that was allegedly malfunctioning. To my bafflement, it appeared to be in perfectly operational condition. Testing it validated its functionality, which was a stark contrast to the "mangled" status the Owner described the part as later. As I continued, I identified a tiny plastic component responsible for the issue. Surprisingly, it was priced at $3 from the dealer online, a far cry from the hundreds quoted by Superior. The disparity between the cost proposed and the actual repair frustrated me. Armed with my newfound knowledge, I contacted Superior again, puzzled by their defense of their diagnosis. I also sought a resolution, feeling taken advantage of. The owner, Mike, defended their thorough diagnosis, while I disagreed. He held firm on its accuracy, despite evidence to the contrary. He subtly shifted to claim the part couldn't be sourced separately, only as part of a larger assembly. I countered with proof of availability and cost from the dealer. Our conversation grew strained, with him avoiding acknowledgment of potential error. For those considering Superior, seek a second opinion on their diagnostics and brace for tough conversations, especially with Mike as he finished his dialog with me by threatening litigation for merely having an opinion. Reviews serve to aid consumers and foster transparency which is why I'm sharing. I anticipate his response to this will be something like, "You paid us to identify the issue, and we provided our recommendation. You chose not to proceed." His omission, however, is their diagnostic shortcoming. They almost overcharged me, seemingly banking on my ignorance. Such instances fuel skepticism about this industry.

Called these people a week ago to get a price for a transmission fluid flush and change. They told me the Service Manager would call me back shortly. I never heard back again. I guess the job wasn’t worth their wild. Maybe I could have been a loyal customer that they lost.

I'm glad I found this place. I called a few places for some vehicle maintenance quotes. Other shops had extremely high prices or gave little confidence they knew what they were doing. I found Superior Auto has fair pricing, a very friendly staff, great reviews, and they had my truck back to me when they promised. I'll be back for sure.

First time using this shop. They were very professional and took the time to review the overall condition of my vehicle and make recommendations to keep it in top running condition. I plan to use them again in the future.
