There was an incident where my three year old went in the water right next to her instructor and he didn't notice because he wasn't paying attention and talking to another instructor. As a parent on the sideline watching my child struggle to get her head above water broke my heart. I was about to jump in the water to get her, but got the instructors attention who was right next to her and can get her faster and he was able to get her out of the water. This incident was witness by the main instructor who was standing in front of where it happened and acknowledge the incident. He simply stated that he saw it and that he would talk to the instructor about paying more attention. I disenrolled my kids and asked for a refund from the main contact on the website who informed me that it was up to the owner of that location and that they would reach out within 24 to 48 hours with a decision. The next day they responded and denied the request for a refund. Parents Beware and look after your kids... I hope this incident never happens again and that they take safety more serious.
We love Swimtastic!! My son has been taking lessons here since he was 8 months old. 2 years later, he is still loving it! They do a great job of keeping instruction constant while also teaching new skills. He is not only comfortable in the water, but he has acquired great swimming skills and continues to learn! The instructors are all friendly and great with my Liam. He is excited to go to swim lessons each week and we love watching our little fish improve, learn, and smile!
Swimtastic more like Swimappointing. Long story short, I tried taking my son to a trial session and so I made an appointment online. I get a call back saying the time and day were no longer available. Sure, no problem, so we rescheduled. Then, I am told the new appointment has an age restriction so I have to wait for confirmation. Alright, no problem. Less than 12h before the class, I still have no confirmation so I call them. They still have no confirmation and I am told to wait for a callback. Ok. Appointment passes, no contact. Even if I had to reschedule one more time, I think it would have been nice to get a callback and work something out, not be left in the wind. Maybe the program itself is great for kids, but now I am biased that they just don’t care and don’t want new customers. Also, I let some time pass before writing this review hoping my disappointment would subside- but it didn’t.
The instructors are incredible, classes are always on time and very organized. The staff is friendly and super helpful if you need to change class times or make up lessons. The low ratio per instructor ensures all the kids get plenty of attention. Overall a great experience!
Both of my daughters went here for swim lessons and they exceeded my expectations every time. They are so personalized with each kid and even got my two year old daughter to come out of her shell. Highly recommend!
