Inspect and smell your garments upon pick-up! Don't just take them home and assume they're clean! I dropped off 3 dresses to be dry cleaned. When I started packing for a trip I noticed none of them got dry cleaned - they all smelled (not in a good way). I ended up cleaning them myself to take them on the trip. Upon returning I requested a refund and was told I needed to bring proof... Terrible experience and customer service. I will not go back.
I take all of my alterations to the seamstress at this cleaners. She is excellent!! They are always ready in one week and they are always perfect! Highly recommend.
I had a white knit jacket with coffee stains, advised what it was when I brought it in. Unfortunately it was the same when I picked it up. It's like nothing was done to it to try and Clean it!! I was charged for it and went on my way. I cleaned it myself with a little elbow grease and was fine...it took 10 minutes! Don't waste your time. VERY unmotivated group...won't go back.
They lost my suit pants. I had worn that suit probably 6, no more than 10 times. They waited about 3-weeks to admit they were lost for good. Initially, they wantet to just pay me for the pants. No! It was a suit, not just a jacket & pants. And, it wasn't a cheap polyester suit either. It was 100% wool. Granted, it was basic off the rack quality so I insisted on being reimbursed for the true value of an off the rack wool suit. Another 3 weeks later, after I threatened them with small claims court, they eventually offered $200. If you catch them on sale, that's barely fair but I agreed. I did ask for them to also cover the cost to hem and cuff as well as add suspeder buttons, which the actually do "in house". They refused. The $200 barely made me whole again but tailoring would have made up for their sloppyness in loosing it. Then, I would continue to use them and I wouldn't be leaving this bad review right now. Finally, 10 days after they said they were sending a check, I hadn't received it. I contacted them and they said it had been sent. It finally showed up 2 days later, post marked the day I called. No apology note, no phone call, nothing... So essentially, after haggling for over a month and a half, I still had to wait 2 weeks, and shake them down to get paid. In all, over 60 days and less than proper customer service. I'll never use them again or recommend them to anyone!
I've been taking my clothes there for four years and never had a single problem. Everything has been delivered on time and perfectly. Elizabeth is always very friendly and helpful!
